Get on the JR Yamanote Line and get off at Nippori Station. Follow the signs to find the West Exit that will bring you out to street level. Turn left once you exit the station onto the narrow pathway and follow the FTT Walking Tour Map along the railroad tracks. 

We recommend beginning the walking tour first thing in the morning around 9 am. If a bit of bad weather is forecast, don’t let that hold you back. Mists or sprinkles of rain, sleet, fog, or dew will only enhance the experience strolling through the topography of this charming little scenic town that will take you back hundreds of years.
